We run thing differently to every other pet sitting company. All our sitters are full time employed with either work permits or visas.Â
Having full time sitters rather than part time (sitters who want to earn extra money) ensures not only they have the passion for animal care, but this is their career ensuring total dedication.
We invest heavily in training and all sitters under go world class certifications including but not limited to First Aid and CPR training.
You can find all our sitter information by clicking here.
As mentioned above we only employ full-time sitters with a passion for animal care. You will receive a primary sitter who will be visiting everyday, and a secondary sitter who will cover their day off.
Please look at the prices on the services pages for more information:
Ideally you should book with plenty of time, we will fill up all our available slots quickly especially during peak seasons. We will need time to book the meet and greet and key collection.
Last minute bookings – can be accepted if we hold a key or if the key is placed in a safe space for customers already registered but we can not guarantee preferred time slots or sitter, however we will try our hardest to place in preferred slots or sitter. New customers please contact us and we will strive to complete the booking if we can.
Once we have confirmed your booking, we will arrange a time for a meet and greet. During the meet and greet we will run through the service, we will ask all the information about your pet and their requirements to ensure everything is covered, and that you know your pets are in the best care. It is here when we give you your own secure lock box, this will be programmed with your own code.
The provided lock box is a gift to you from us, and your key should be placed in the box for the sitter to gain entry. We are passionate about the safety of all pets, and by keeping the key in a lock box ensures we can gain access in any emergency situations.Â
Yes, for your first time using us we will need to arrange a meet and greet. This is a great time where you will meet the sitter and the sitter meet your pet, not only to record all of your pets requirements, but also to confirm your pet (especially dogs) are comfortable with the sitter.
Once a meet and greet has been carried out, we will no longer need another.
Your details are all kept on your portal and any changes to the pets care, like medications or meals you can change within the portal. You can also either leave a spare key with us for future bookings or leave a key in a secure place, so we don’t need to arrange another key pick up or drop off meeting.
All visits will be a minimum of 45 minutes, enough time for a walk, feeding, playing, and comfort.
Visits will be done between 7am to 7pm, we will try to keep the same time each day but sometimes this may not be possible. Visits while you’re at work will be planned during the afternoon unless you require a different time due to your work times.
We have an APP which will notify you of when we arrive, we will also send you a message through the app with a photo that we are with your pet. At the end of each visit you will also receive a visit report with information and pictures of what we have done on the visit with a GPS tracker to confirm we were there. During dog walks our GPS tracker shows you a route where the sitter has walked
We take safety extremely serious and under no circumstances will we let cats out on balconies or apartment corridors. If your balcony has been fully cat proofed and checked by the sitter for safety, your cat will be allowed on the balcony under sitter supervision only.
Dubai summer is especially difficult for our dogs, because we take safety so seriously, all sitters will check the ground temperature and outside temperature before walking any dogs.
If the temperature is too high and the ground is too hot, our walks will be reduced to a toilet break and the remainder time will be spent inside, playing, learning tricks, and lots of cuddles.
No, even if you have a feeder once per day visit is required. We do this to ensure the welfare of your pet is maintained while they are in our care.
Payments for services can be paid through your customer portal. Full payment is required to secure booking and it will show on your portal at time of booking. We will send reminders 7 days prior if payment has not been made, if payment has not been made 48 hours prior your booking will be cancelled.
Please note that during peak seasons a deposit may be required.
We notify you through the APP chat that supplies have ran out, you are very welcome to make an online order and we will bring the order inside for you. If we are required to purchase extra supplies for your pet, we will invoice you the costs of the product plus a 20 AED admin fee will be charged.
Whenever there is a problem, we will alert you straight away and take your pet to the vet if necessary. One of the forms for you to sign is a veterinary release form, this allows us to act on your behalf, any costs incurred by Perfect Paws will be invoiced to you with our admin fees.
